| Congress extends / expands tax credit for home buyers |

So here it is folks...

House votes 403-12 to pass the bill...now it goes to the President to sign today. No question this will be signed into law...is this a good thing for the economy?
It's certainly good for our industry, and home sales should continue to feel the benefits of the juice this bill supplies. As a real estate professional, of course we encourage anything that will keep our market healthy and moving forward. Important to recall, however, that there is a price tag that comes with this bill. Are we simply pushing forward the "day of reckoning" with respect to real estate?
